Yesterday i.e. on 27th September 2016, Twitter kicked start a new campaign for all the USA citizens on Twitter by giving them new and cool way to get registered if you haven’t. They have a page called Twitter Government where they update all the news regarding the election and as the Election Day is nearing they are promoting the users to register for the Election.

All you need to do is search for @Gov in the search twitter bar and click on the Twitter Government page which has more than 2.25 Million Followers already! Once you land on the page, all you need to do is say hello after clicking on the message icon. Once you say Hello, they will respond with an automated message and all you need to do is type your five digit Zip code. They will send you the personal link to register to vote for your state as well as the deadline to register for your state. Thus, you can register easily. Now, once you have registered for the election and also want your friends and family to know as well as prompt them to vote, all you need to do is a tweet that you have registered and add a hashtag #iRegistered with an official election emoji which Twitter has rolled out for the election to your tweet. Thus, when someone will click on the emoji, they will be redirected to the Twitter Government page so they can also register for the elections.
