Google Unlocked a Lot of Opportunities for Indian SMBs with Digital Unlocked

Shortcode: [ssf id=1390824263]

Everyone knows Indian PM wishes to make India a Cashless and Digital Country. And for that, there are a lot of updates coming from the Government whether it be BHIM, a Money transfer app to other offers and benefits for all those who opt for digital payments and digital purchases. To make that dream come true, Indian businesses needs to make a strong web presence so that customers can get more options online and prefer Digital Transactions instead of Cash trades.

This vision was well understood by Google and they have come up with a great platform to prompt Small and Medium Businesses to learn and make a good Digital Presence. The concept is to push small businesses to commence trading of their products and services online also along with the Offline base.

The platform is named “Digital Unlocked” and they have come up with small video tutorials to make businesses understand how they can tap the opportunity of booming their businesses online.

It is a training program where entrepreneurs can learn how to promote their business in the Virtual world. There are three mediums from where you can access this program, one is an online platform where they have uploaded a SET Of 90 Videos and all are divided into small categories like Email Marketing, Search Campaigns, Analytics, Web Presence and other such categories. Each Video has a test accompanied with it which will help you analyze your understanding of the Video.

The Second Platform is Offline Trainings where Google has partnered with FICCI and they have planned Digital Training sessions in 40 Cities and more than 5000 campaigns are planned.

The third platform is Mobile Application named “Primer” launched by Google in both Google Play as well as iOS app Store. The app supports both English as well as Hindi Language and Google has planned to launch it in Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi in the near future.

They have also come up with Google My Business where businessmen can easily setup a FREE Mobile Optimized Website where all they have to do is provide information and images to the Google Maps and you will get an instant working website for your business.

Many might not know this but not only the chamber of Commerce and Trade have supported this campaign. But, Google has managed to get some influential partners like “ieema” (INDIAN ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION), “FACSI” (FEDERATIONS of ASSOCIATIONS of COTTAGE and SMALL INDUSTRIES), “FADA” (FEDERATION of AUTOMOBILES DEALERS ASSOCIATION) and Hotel Association of India.

Thus, India is now truly on its way towards “Digital Revolution” and Digital Unlocked will definitely give it a great Boost. To make sure you also have a strong digital presence along with the offline base, don’t forget to contact Nesterzweb for your Digital Evolution.
